Springbok dope-case pair cleared

Springbok duo drug case and Chiliboy Ralepelle Bjorn Basson was cleared to play again on Friday with a South African Rugby Union (SARU) judicial committee.

Bassoon Wing and Hooker Ralepelle was suspended in November last year after testing positive for a banned stimulant methylhexaneamine during a trip to Ireland and Great Britain.

Saru statement said a committee of two lawyers and a doctor took stimulants has been given an extra jump in the box before a test against Ireland in Dublin.
