Mary Katherine Schmitz later known as Mary Kay Letourneau, who proved to be a ‘subject’ for several television specials and attracted a countless tabloids, is the daughter of famous figure and a conformist or conservative politician John G. Schmitz. Mary made headlines in 1997 when she was found guilty of raping a 12-year-old pupil of hers named Vili Fualaau.
According to the details, Mary Katherine Schmitz was around 30-year-old when she managed to persuade one of her pupils who was hardly thirteen years of age then, and developed an illicit relation with the kid. The matter prolonged and the ‘odd couple’ kept on enjoying the relation until Mary’s husband Steve Letourneau came to know about it. Later Steve, who had discovered few of the writings describing the unlawful relation of the duo, filed the divorce in 1999.

Schmitz who was also involved in a similar bodily relation with one of his female students in 1982. John G. Schmitz also fathered two kids from that relation.
