Banned In Britain- Pastor Terry Jones

Britain has refused entry to the pastor from Florida who said last year that he was "asked" whether to burn the Koran to protest against September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

"The government is against extremism in all its forms, that is why we excluded the Rev. Terry Jones of England," a spokesman for the Interior Ministry in a statement. "Many of the pastor's comments Jones is a testimony of his unacceptable behavior. "

Jones has promised to continue to change the decision. "As a man, I think it is restrictive, against my right to raise against my right to my opinion, to express my opinion, the basic principles of religious freedom and freedom of expression," he said in a telephone interview.

He said he had planned to leave the United Kingdom 9 and 10 February to spend a week to his church group. It 'been invited to speak at a series of events in England and do a book of signatures, he said.

Jones, pastor of the Dove Global Awareness Center in Gainesville, Florida, last September threatened to burn the Koran. "We have taken our minds, but at the same time, certainly pray about it,"

But he changed his mind after his proposal for sharp criticism of Muslims worldwide and U.S. officials. General David Petraeus, the U.S. commander in Afghanistan, said the burning of the holy books of Islam "can cause major problems" for U.S. troops overseas.

His book, "Islam is the devil" was ranked 960,762 on Amazon.com.
